Additionally required aid:
☐ 2-pole voltage detector that does not have its own voltage source
Procedure:
1. Disconnect the inverter from voltage sources (at www.SMA-Solar.com).
2. Make a note of the position of the DC field plugs.
3. Release and remove the DC field plugs.
4. Remove the enclosure lid of the DC-Connection Unit (TX25) by pulling it towards the front.
5. Discharge the DC Connection Unit at the contact points using a voltage detector without
intrinsic voltage source. When doing so, ensure that the residual voltage is less than 5 V.
• On the right-hand side of the DC switch, each
pair of contacts DC+ against each contact DC-
(red, blue and white conductor against 1 black
conductor; gray, green and lilac conductor
against 1 blue conductor)
