This booklet provides information on how to care for your
tracheostomy tube. You will find tips on how to suction,
change ties, change tubes and care for the skin around the
opening in your neck. Also included are basic safety tips, a
problem-solving guide and an easy-to-understand glossary
of the technical terms you may hear.

that could adversely affect you. There are others that
caution about situations that could damage your Shiley™
