150sec. After this safety time the machine
performs a distribution step and then makes
a new attempt. If after the maximum number
of attempts (five) the alarm is triggered
again, the cycle is aborted, the display flashes
the alarm and the buzzer is heard for 5
minutes on end. After that the system will be
reset automatically.
Measures to be taken in case of a
voltage drop
If a voltage drop longer than 3 sec. occurs
during a wash cycle, on being re-energised
all the luminous devices the machine is
fitted with (wash step LEDS, time, cycle and
temperature DISPLAYS) are reset: they flash
for one minute with all functions disabled.
As soon as normal work conditions are
restored the cycle will be resumed from the
step that was underway when the voltage
drop occurred and displays will resume their
normal functions. Conversely, if the door is
open when the machine is re-energised, the
cycle will be aborted.
ATTENTION If the ON - OFF switch is
actuated to turn machine off after the
cycle has been started, the machine will
behave as if a voltage drop has occurred.

7.8 INFORMATION ABOUT SPECIAL
MEASURES FOR USE AND
PROTECTION
When carrying out the first cycle, verify the
following:
- Soap dispensers must stay clean:
dispenser A after taking in pre-wash water;
dispenser B after taking in wash water;
dispenser C after taking in water for the
last rinse.
- Remove all soap made solid during machine
lay up.
- Perform a 90°C cycle to remove all
manufacturing residues.
- The operator must be able to check soap
compartments with ease. Place a platform if
necessary.
- Make certain that laundry trolleys are lower
than the door bottom edge.
- If need be, mount appropriate bumpers to
prevent trolleys from hitting and damaging
the door.
- Never open soap compartments when the
machine is taking in water or is heating.
7.9 ORDINARY MAINTENANCE
(to be carried out by the user)
BEFORE ANY MAINTENANCE OR
CLEANING OPERATIONS, CHECK
THAT THE WALL CUTOFF SWITCH
IS OFF AND THE HOT WATER AND
COLD WATER TAPS ARE CLOSED.
THE DRUM MUST BE STILL AND
DRAINED AND THE TEMPERATURE
INSIDE MUST NOT EXCEED 40
The machine requires no special
maintenance, thanks to its ergonomic design
and to the use of very reliable, first-quality
parts.
Periodically clean the external panels with a
damp cloth. Never use inflammable or
abrasive products.
Always keep forced-cooling slots and
openings free from dust (the fan sucks fresh
air from the room), which are on the rear of
the machine, where the speed changer is
housed.
NEVER WASH THE APPLIANCE
USING WATER JETS.
BEFORE TURNING THE MACHINE
ON BY THE CUTOFF SWITCH ON
THE WALL, PUT ALL THE PANELS
REMOVED BACK IN PLACE.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR
MAINTENANCE AND
REPAIR PERSONNEL
FURTHER
8. SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
AND ORDERING SPARE PARTS
8.1 REMOVE THE LID
To reach the machine electrical parts, take
off the screws fastening the lid to the back
panel and the soap dispenser. Then lift the
rear part of the lid and pull it to the front by
approximately 5 cm.
BEFORE TURNING THE MACHINE
ON AGAIN BY THE WALL CUTOFF
SWITCH, PUT ALL THE PANELS
REMOVED BACK IN PLACE.
8.2 TROUBLESHOOTING
If the machine does not work, check the
following:
- the main cutoff switch on the wall is on and
the machine is getting current;
- the door is closed;
- the green start push-button has been pressed.
- the hot water and cold water taps are open.
If the fault is not due to any of the above
causes, call the authorised after-sales service
or your dealer (see last page of this booklet).
8.3 SAFETY DEVICES
- Door microswitch disconnects the auxiliary
circuit from the power mains and so stops
the appliance.
- Motor overload cutout that cuts off power
to the motor winding.
- Air-break system in the soap dispenser,
which avoids pollution of the water mains in
case of a depression.
- Normally open drain valve, which enables
safe door manual opening.
- Tilt switch that avoids mechanical damage
in the event of irregular loads.
8.4 PERIODIC MAINTENANCE (to be
carried out by the technical personnel)
°
C.
All maintenance operations must be carried
out by the authorised after-sales service or
by qualified personnel.
BEFORE ANY MAINTENANCE OR
CLEANING OPERATION, CHECK
THAT THE WALL CUTOFF SWITCH
IS OFF AND THE HOT WATER AND
COLD WATER TAPS ARE CLOSED.
Be very careful during maintenance. NEVER
skip or ignore safety devices. Use only
original spare parts. If doubts should arise,
contact your sales person immediately,
explaining what the fault is and indicating
some information on the machine: model
and serial number (details reported on the
rating plate appearing on the rear of the
machine).
MONTHLY
SERVICING
Clean the strains located on the outer part of
the electrically driven valves.
Clean the soap dispenser from any soap
remains.
Clean the door gasket and the tub inlet with
a cloth.
YEARLY
SERVICING
Make certain that the floor fastening nuts are
securely closed.
Check the wear of the belts and replace them
if necessary. If more than one of them is
worn out, replace the entire set of belts.
Make sure that the safety devices are working
properly (e.g. door and tilt microswitch).
Check that the floor fastening screws are
tight.
Make certain that the power connecting
screws are tight on the contactors and the
terminal board.
Disassemble the drain valve and clean it
inside from lint.
Check that heaters are in perfect condition
and clean them from scale.
BEFORE TURNING THE MACHINE
ON BY THE CUTOFF SWITCH ON
THE WALL, PUT ALL THE PANELS
REMOVED BACK IN PLACE.
AUTOMATIC MAINTENANCE
REQUEST
The machine keeps count of the number of
cycles it executes. After 1000 programs the
machine will flash the writing "10 00 C" for
10 seconds as the START button is pressed,
to remind the user that scheduled
maintenance is needed. Then it will carry out
the selected cycle normally.
