122017 / 1.0
Possible cause
A different grease to the
prescribed grease F80 is
used.
Component broken.
Dirt in the area of the collet
chuck.
Workpiece is undersize.
Dirty clamping cone.
Concentricity fault of the
clamping unit.
Elastic deformation of start-
ing material with defects of
form; after machining, the
workpiece returns to its
original form.
Troubleshooting
Measure
Dismantle, clean and
re-grease collet chuck
CAPTIS-M.
Replace component.
Remove collet chuck,
completely unclamp
collet chuck CAPTIS-M
and clean coupling area.
Insert suitable collet
chuck for the workpiece.
Remove collet chuck
and clean clamping
cone.
Check concentricity on
the clamping cone and
correct if necessary.
Use starting material
with as few defects of
form as possible. Use
collet chuck with some
sharp teeth in the
clamping surface.
