Cleaning and Care

NOTICES
• Do not use any toxic, corrosive or abrasive cleaning
agents or scouring sponges to clean the product.
This might damage the surfaces.
1. Make sure that all components have cooled down suffi -
ciently before you clean them.
2. Empty the carafe and the permanent fi lter completely.
3. Clean the carafe, the permanent fi lter and the silicone
sleeve with warm water and mild detergent.
The carafe without the silicone sleeve and the perma-
nent fi lter are also suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.
However, we recommend cleaning the carafe by hand as
frequent cleaning in the dishwasher can make the glass
brittle and milky due to the high temperature.
Storage
• Before storing the components you should clean them again
(see the "Cleaning and Care" chapter) to avoid possible
mould formation. Mould can cause spots and damage on the
product that can no longer be removed / repaired. When
all the components are fully dry, store them in a dry, clean,
frost-free place that is protected from direct sunlight and
cannot be accessed by children or animals.
