ADDITIONAL PROCESSES

This section describes additional processes available in robot mode.
12�1 Plasma Welding Process
WinTig range power sources for automation (Items 380.80, 381.80, 394.80 and 395.80, 396.80) can perform the DC
and AC Plasma Welding process. In order to do this, it is necessary to use a gas console Item 465.01. See Figure 3
for the connection procedure.
To enable the Plasma welding process, proceed as follows:
Select Menu->Plasma Welding Parameters to set the Plasma Welding process parameters. For a description of
Plasma Welding process parameters, refer to the user manual of Item 465.01 code 3301069

Select Menu -> Settings -> External CAN Interface.
Set the CANopen bus parameters for the robot interface.
Confirm using the pushbutton with the checkmark.
Exit the menu by pressing the return pushbutton.

- Menu->Accessories
- use B to select Plasma Welding Unit. and confirm:
OFF Plasma welding process disabled.
ON Plasma welding process enabled.
In section Q, select the Plasma Welding process type to be used
