13.9 CLEANING OF RUBBER ROLLER FRICTION
(Carriage with mechanical brake)
Set the main switch on position O.
- Remove the snap ring 1.
- Remove the pin 2.
- Remove the lever 3.
- Remove the bushing 4, the spring 5, the washer 6.
- Remove the plate 7, the friction 8 and the contrast 9.
- Clean the friction.
- Lay the friction on a sheet of sandpaper, rotate gently the support
with the friction in order to remove the patina.
13.10 CLEANING OF RUBBER ROLL FRICTION
(Carriage with electromagnetic brake)
-Unscrew the four screws and lift up the magnet-holder block 1.
-Lift the brake sleeve 2.
-Clean the friction by an air compressor or eventually replace it.
