Once the engine has started;

Let the engine run, idle, for 3 minutes.
NOTE
If the engine does not start, although you have tried several times, contact your IMER dealer or
the closest After Sales Service.
6. USE
NOTE
The flow of the pump is controlled by adjusting the engine speed. The flow rate is increased by
moving the speed control to fast H (HIGH SPEED) position [Fig. 18]. The flow rate is reduced by
moving the speed control to idle L (LOW SPEED) position [Fig. 26].
When the engine is warm:
Put the CHOKE LEVER to RUN (OPEN) position [Fig. 2 2];

For self-priming, place speed control to fast H (HIGH SPEED) position [Fig. 1 8];

Adjust the pump flow using the speed control.
NOTE
To save fuel and prolonge the lifespan of the pump, use the CHOKE LEVER to CHOKE (CLOSED)
position only when it is required.
□ Do not crush the suction and discharge pipes [Fig. 2 3].
□ Protect the suction and discharge hoses from possible vehicle passages and avoiding to trample
the suction and discharge hoses [Fig. 2 4].
7. STOPPING THE PUMP
■ Prior to disconnecting the water fittings, make sure the pump has stopped.
■ Never disconnect the fittings when the pump is running.
□ If the delivery hose is equipped with a valve, stop the engine before closing the valve [Fig. 25].
