Drain the fuel system (see 10.2.);

Remove the spark plug;
5.
Clean the pump unit with a cloth soaked in oil;
6.
Pull the recoil starter rope until you feel a resistance (engine in compression allow to close the
valves and avoid oxidation) and leave the engine in this position;
7.
Store the pump in a well-ventilated, clean and dry place.
10.1. EMPTYING THE WATER CIRCUIT
1.
Unscrew the drain plug [Fig. 28] and empty completely the pump body [Fig. 29];
2.
Remove the priming plug [Fig. 14];
3.
Clean the pump body with clear water;
4.
Allow water to drain completely;
5.
Replace the priming and drain plugs.
10.2. EMPTYING THE FUEL CIRCUIT (GASOLINE)
■ Operation to be avoided in the vicinity of a heat source, open flame or other conditions that may
cause a fire.
■ Do not smoke.
1.
Position a container under the tank to collect fuel;
2.
Open the tank cap [Fig. 06];
3.
Thoroughly let petrol flow out of the tank into a convenient container;
4.
Close the tank cap.
