7.5 Manual start-up button (I)
Pulling the button of the starter results in it jumping back in order to start the motor. Slightly pull
the button of the ignition until you feel resistance and then pull it fast. Carefully release the
button of the ignition in order to avoid a jump-back of the button and damage to the ignition
system.
7.6 Characteristics motor oil alarm system
The motor oil alarm system is intended to avoid damage to the motor if the motor oil level is
very low in the container. Before the oil level in the container of the motor reaches a safety line,
the alarm system automatically stops the motor (even if the on/ off switch of the motor is in the
"ON" position). If the motor is stopped and cannot be restarted, first check the oil level and then
the levels of all other liquids.
8.OPERATION
8.1 BEFORE THE START
For safety reasons and to maximise the service life of your equipment, it is very important that
you take some time before operating the pump to check its condition. Ensure that you remove
all occurring faults or that you advise your authorised sales partner to remove them before
starting the pump.
Before commencing with the check it must be ensured that the pump is standing on a level
surface and that the On/Off switch of the motor is in the "OFF" position.
In order to exclude all fire risks and to ensure sufficient ventilation, the pump must be
standing at a minimum distance of 1 meter to buildings and other equipment components.Do
not store combustible objects close to the pump.
The exhaust gases contain toxic carbon monoxide. Avoid breathing in exhaust gases.
Never let the motor run in a closed workshop or in confined spaces.
CAUTION
Incorrect maintenance of the pump or incorrect failure removal prior to operation may lead to a
fault which may severely injure the operator or persons close to the machine.
Prior to each time of operating the pump, an inspection must be performed and all problems
must be rectified before commissioning.
Check the condition of the pump
Look for signs of damage. Search the pump's surroundings or below the pump for signs of oil or
petrol leaks. Remove excessive contamination or waste, in particular close to the sound
absorber of the motor and the start-up switch.
