• Take out the suction filter (yellow)
and remove the dirt with a cloth or a
soft brush.
• Take out the intake filter and remove
the dirt with a cloth or a soft brush.
Attention:
Clogged suction filters may impair the suc-
tion performance.
Clogged intake filters may reduce the
amount of cleaning solution.
• Mount the dirt sieve (yellow), the fresh water tank (Flex-
tank), suction filter and intake filter.
• Put the drain hose into the holder.
Cleaning the fresh water tank filter
Notice:
Clean the fresh water tank filter after the
end of operation.
• The machine must be switched off.
Caution:
Before opening the battery compartment
make sure that both tank areas are empty.
• At the bottom right on the front side of
the machine you will find the battery
compartment release.
• Undo the hexagon screw.
• Carefully tilt the tank backwards until
it is lying on the floor.
• Unscrew the fresh water tank filter
and remove it.
• Rinse the filter thoroughly with clean
water.
Caution:
After maintenance, carefully bring the tank
back to its initial position and screw in the
hexagon screw.

Removing and cleaning the brush
Notice:
Clean the brush whenever cleaning work
is completed.
• The machine must be switched off.
XP-M
• Pull the locking lever.
Front cleaning unit
• Pull the spring lock out and remove
the brushes for front cleaning from
the brush unit.
Lateral cleaning unit
• Remove the brushes for lateral
cleaning from the brush unit by pull-
ing the bristles.
• Remove the brushes and clean them under running water.
Cleaning the machine
Attention:
Never clean the machine with a high-pres-
sure cleaner or water jet.
Water ingress in the machine may cause
considerable damage to the mechanical or
electrical parts.
• Wipe the machine with a moist cloth.
Storing / parking the machine (not in operation)
Notice:
Store the machine with a lifted squeegee,
lifted brush and open tank lid. Thus, the
tank can dry,
and the generation of mold and unpleas-
ant odors is prevented.
