12 STAND BY button. It must be pressed whenever the device is powered by on-off switch (29) on back
panel or in case of an AC mains drop. In "stand by" state, all functions are blocked and the device is put
in operation state as soon as this button is pressed. When it is pressed, the AMBER led switches on
near the button.
13 Button to increase (arrow up) or decrease (arrow down) the volume of sound indication system of the
device, excluding the alarm of patient plate fault.
14 Outlet for connection of bipolar accessory - BIPOLAR. This outlet is activated by pressing the footswitch.
15 Outlet for connection of patient plate cable - PATIENT. The patient plate absence or connection
problems inhibit the electrosurgical unit activation and switches on the Fault led (10), except in bipolar
mode (22), as it does not need the patient plate.
16 Button for selection of Pure, Blend 1, Blend 2, Blend 3 or Spray and Bipolar modes. When powering on
the electrosurgical unit or after a power shortage, the Pure mode will always be selected after leaving
the Stand-By function.
17 Outlet for connection of monopolar accessories or hadswitch pencil – ACCESSORY
18 YELLOW led indicating the BLEND 3 function
19 YELLOW led indicating the BLEND 2 function
20 Button to select Cut or Coag.
21 YELLOW led indicating the BLEND 1 function
