NOTE 1: At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the highest frequency range is applied.
NOTE 2: These guidelines may not apply to all situations. Electromagnetic propagation is affected by absorption and reflection of
structures, objects and persons.
a
Field intensities established by fixed transmitters, such as base radio stations, telephone (mobile/wireless) and terrestrial mobile radios,
ham radio, AM and FM and TV broadcasting cannot be theoretically estimated. To evaluate the electromagnetic environment due to
fixed RF transmitters, a local electromagnetic inspection is recommended. If the level of field intensity in the place where the equipment
is used exceeds conformity level used above, the equipment must be monitored to check if operation is Normal. If an abnormal
performance is noted, additional procedures may be necessary, such as repositioning or replacement of equipment.
Above the frequency range of 150 KHz – 80 MHz, field intensity should be lower than 3 V/m.
b
Separation distances between portable and mobile RF communication equipment and the Microprocessed
The Microprocessed Electrosurgical Unit model SS-200E is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment where
radiated RF disturbances are controlled. The equipment user may help to prevent electromagnetic interferences by
keeping a minimum distance between portable and mobile RF communication equipment (transmitters) and the
equipment as recommended below, according to the maximum power of communication equipment.

For transmitters with a maximum nominal output power not listed above, the recommended separation distance d in
meters (m) may be determined by the equation applicable to the transmitter frequency, where P is the maximum
nominal output power of transmitter in watts (W) according to the transmitter manufacturer.
NOTE 1: At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the separation distance for the highest frequency range is applied.
NOTE 2: These guidelines may not apply to all situations. Electromagnetic propagation is affected by absorption and
reflection of structures, objects and persons.

Electromagnetic Environment – Guidelines
Portable and mobile RF communication equipment should
not be used close to any part of equipment, including
cables, at a distance smaller than the recommended
distance, calculated according to the equation applicable to
the transmitter frequency.
Recommended Separation Distance
80 MHz to 800 GHz
800 MHz to 2,5 GHz
where P is the maximum nominal output power of
transmitter in watts (W), according to the transmitter
manufacturer, and d is the recommended separation
distance in meters (m).
It is recommended that field intensity established by RF
transmitter, as determined by a local electromagnetic
inspection, "is lower than the conformity level at each
