Under no circumstances, in case of need of replacement of any components covered by this Warranty, the
original warranty period shall be extended by the addition of eventual complements of replaced
components.
EQUIPMENT
This warranty is valid for all equipment bearing WEM brand and produced by WEM Equipamentos
Eletrônicos Ltda.
INSTALLATION AND USE
Installation and/or operation of equipment, as well as work conditions, must comply with WEM standards
set forth in this User Manual. Conditions different from those specified make the clauses of this Warranty
invalid.
WARRANTY PLACE
Repair and/or replacement of parts shall be performed by a WEM technician or by an Authorized Technical
Assistance accredited to WEM.
Upon the evidence that a perfect equipment repair shall only be possible in our facilities (factory) or
companies authorized by us, the transportation costs (round trip) shall be borne by the purchasing user.
VALIDITY PERIOD
The validity period starts on the date of issuance of the relevant Bill of Sale by WEM or its dealers and
shall be valid for the equipment for a period of 12 months, provided that the warranty period for
accessories is determined by the average life cycle or 90 (ninety) days, whichever shall occur earlier.
LIABILITY
This warranty is valid only for the equipment that is in use and in the possession of the original purchasing
user. WEM liability is limited to the replacement and/or repair of components, excluding eventual losses
caused by loss of profits, indemnities or any other indirect or immediate damages.

7.7 – Preventive maintenance and preservation
We recommend that preventive maintenance is made every 6 months. Preventive maintenance shall be
made by WEM or any of its authorizedtechnical assistances.
Check every day:

If there is any oxidation in power cables
If uncommon smells have occurred when the equipment is switched on

If there are physical damages to the equipment case

Check every week:
The power source (electric power socket) conditions.

Preservation
Equipment must be cleaned with neutral detergent and a slightly damp cloth. Do not use alcohol, gasoline,
ether, etc., or abrasive materials, such as steel wool.
8 – Additional Reuse Procedures
Cleaning and sterilization methods
A. Cleaning by running water and neutral detergent
B. Sterilization by autoclave – at a temperature of 134ºC for 15 minutes.
C. Sterilization by ethylene oxide.
D. Sterilization by autoclave with formalin.
E. Sterilization by immersion in germicide solutions (enzymatic detergents)*
F. Sterilization by hydrogen peroxide (sterrad)
