• The Event window closes and the selected
time blocks change color depending on the
selected modes.

In figure 16.10, all the time blocks are
NOTE:
orange because Continuous+Motion
recording was applied to all time blocks.
NONE (red): The system DOES NOT
record.
CONT (Continuous; sky blue): The
system records continuously
(default).
MOTION (Motion; light-purple): The
system only records when motion is
detected from one of the connected
cameras.
CONT/MOT (Continuous+Motion;
purple): The system records
continuously, and records when
motion detected—set motion
recording parameters at higher

6. Click APPLY to save your settings or click
CANCEL to restore defaults.

ALARM RECORDING
Use the Alarm Recording menu to set camera
parameters when an external alarm such as a
motion detector (not included) activates.
External alarms connect to the relay panel of
the system.
Alarm Recording Parameters
Alarm recording parameters for each camera
are set by hour using the Time Interval bar at
the top of the window.
To set alarm recording parameters for each
channel:
1. Click the ALARM RECORDING tab on the
left.
• The Alarm Recording window opens.

2. In the Time interval bar, drag the mouse
cursor to select the desired time you wish
to activate Alarm recording.
