The dual time-zone watch can simultaneously display two different
times. The watch has a main display that indicates the local time
in the centre of the dial (1 and 2) and a sub-dial at 4 o'clock that
indicates the reference time (home time) (4 and 5).
When the dual time-zone function is not in use, the two hour hands
(1 and 4) can be synchronised to move at the same time.
The reference time of the watch is the home time, i.e. the time at the
normal place of residence.
NOTE: Start by setting the home time in position C, then set the
local time in position B.
Setting instructions
Winding and time-setting:
The winding and time-setting crown (I) can be placed in three
positions: A, B and C.
A: Pushed down against the case, winding position.
This is the normal position when the watch is being worn and
guarantees the best water-resistance.
If the watch has not been worn for some time, wind it by rotating
the winding and time-setting crown (I) around twenty times. It is
unnecessary to fully wind a self-wound watch that is going to be
worn. The winding and time-setting crown (I) will not be locked at
the end of the winding cycle; the mechanism therefore cannot be
damaged.

B: Position for setting the local time.
When travelling, to set the watch to local time, pull out the winding
and time-setting crown (I) to position B then turn it. The local time
hour hand (1) will move forwards or backwards depending on the
direction of rotation.
The seconds hand (3), and the hour, minute and 24-hour hands
of the reference time (4, 5 and 6) are unaffected and remain
synchronised on the reference time.
Instructions for pre-setting:
Pull the winding and time-setting crown (I) out to position B.
Move the local time hour hand (1) until both hour hands (1 and 4) are
synchronised.
C: Position for setting the reference time.
This is the home time, i.e. the time at the place of residence.
When pulled out to this position, rotation of the winding and time-
setting crown (I) sets the hours and minutes of the reference time
(4 and 5) and the hours and minutes of the local time (1 and 2).
Ensure that the 24-hour hand (6) is in accordance with the correct
time window in the reference (home) time. Then push the winding
and time-setting crown (I) back to position A to ensure the watch's
water-resistance.
Water-resistance
The water-resistance of the watch has been tested at a pressure
of 3 bar.
