Routing bus lines
5.3.1 Notes on installation boxes
Special provisions for distribution boxes only apply if both the bus line and
the
line are fitted. t is important here that either separate bo es are
used for the branching or a box with partitioning which has two separate
chambers.
5.3.2 Notes for line routing
If possible, the bus lines should be routed together with the power lines in the
usual installation areas (see DIN 18015 - 3).
There are various possibilities for routing the bus lines in the individual rooms.
They can go to a central distributor in a star layout or through all rooms in a
ring layout. Any combinations of these two types of routing are possible.
5.3.3 Connection of bus subscribers
he bus line is connected to the e
bus terminal. The bus terminal is a plug-in terminal which can connect up to
four bus cables.

The bus terminal ensures that a subscriber (a bus segment) can be taken from
the eSCHELL bus system without interrupting the bus line. This means that
the removal of a bus subscriber does not lead to the communication of the
other subscribers being interrupted.
