This manual facilitates the safe and efficient use of the linear unit.
The manual forms part of the linear unit and must therefore be
stored near the linear unit and be accessible to staff at all times.
Staff must have carefully read and understood this manual before
commencing any work on the machine. Adherence to all safety
information and instructions in this manual is a basic prerequisite
for safe working.
In addition, the local accident prevention regulations and general
safety regulations apply to the linear unit's range of applications.
Each assembly section is prefaced by tables providing clear speci-
fications as to which version and size of the linear units the
descriptions apply, e.g.:

standing and may deviate from the actual version.
