Overloading the timing belt

Risk of injury due to hot surfaces!
The surface of the pulley box can heat up significantly
due to the heat transfer of a mounted gear unit and/or
motor in operation.
Skin contact with hot surfaces can lead to severe
burns.

Harm to health due to lubricants!
Contact with lubricants (greases and oils) can cause
allergies and irritate the skin and eyes.

NOTICE!
Property damage due to overloading the timing
belt!
The timing belt tension is pre-set by
RK Rose+Krieger GmbH. Higher loads deviating in the
application can cause property damage due to the
timing belt slipping.

Wear heat-resistant protective clothing and protec-
tive gloves when carrying out any work in the
vicinity of hot surfaces.
Before starting any work, ensure that all surfaces
have cooled down to the ambient temperature.
When handling lubricants and cleaning agents,
wear protective clothing, safety goggles, protective
gloves and, if necessary, respiratory protection.
Observe the safety data sheets for the lubricants
used.
Adjust the tension of the timing belt to the higher
load. Please contact RK Rose+Krieger GmbH for
this purpose.
