Assembling the linear unit on the substrate > Assembling a linear unit with slot stones

Prerequisite:
n The substrate must be prepared for the linear unit being fixed
to it.
1. Insert slot stones (Fig. 15/1) into the slot(s) on the underside
of the guide profile (Fig. 15/2).
Depending on the length and size of the linear unit, 2
or more slot stones must be inserted on the underside
of the guide profile.

2. Ensure that a distance of 300 mm between the slot stones
(Fig. 16/1) is not exceeded at maximum load.

n Safety shoes
When an RK MonoLine R linear unit is assem-
bled, it may be necessary to disassemble the
end plates before the slot stones can be
inserted.
