Intended use

The VISULAS YAG III is designed for ophthalmologic use including
posterior capsulotomy and peripheral iridotomy.
Note for VISULAS YAG III Combi:
The VISULAS YAG III Combi instrument system consists of the
VISULAS 532s laser system, the VISULAS YAG III laser system
and the LSL YAG III Combi laser slit lamp as a general
applicator for the two laser systems.
For the intended use of the VISULAS 532s, the VISULAS 532s
user manual must be observed.

This device is intended for use primarily by physicians and health care
workers and may only be used under the supervision of a physician.
This device will not be sold to the general public.
The VISULAS YAG III is used in ophthalmic applications, which includes
posterior capsulotomy and peripheral iridotomy.
The VISULAS 532s in the VISULAS YAG III Combi is intended for
ophthalmologic use including photocoagulation of ocular tissues.
The laser energy is delivered via either transpupillary delivery or
intraocular endoprobe delivery.
Warning
Before firing the laser, make sure that the aiming beam is clearly visible
in the treatment area!
Possible complications
Retinal bleeding and/or burns may occur particularly with excessive
laser power.

Contact lenses

Always use the correct contact lens for the intended application.
Warning
Always hold the contact lens at right angles to the laser beam.
Incorrect positioning of the contact lens causes distortion of the laser
focus. This can lead to unwanted side effects.
Never fire the laser if you are unable to see the aiming beam in the
target area.
