PLACING (PARALLELING)
THE BLADE TO THE MITER SLOT
See Figures 31 - 33.
• Unplug the saw.
• Remove the blade guard and anti-
kickback pawls. Raise the blade by
turning the height/ bevel adjusting
handwheel.
• Mark next to one of the blade teeth
on the front of the blade. Place a
combination carpenter's square along
the front of the saw table and the side
of the saw blade as shown in figure
31
• Rotate the blade so that the marked
tooth is at the front.
• Move the combination carpenter's
square back and measure the
distance again. If the distances are
the same, the sheet is square. If the
distances are different:
• Place the dividing knife in the "down"
position.
• Loosen the set screws located on the
top of the saw table.
WARNING!
To reduce the risk of kickback injury,
align the guide cutting with the blade
after of any blade setting. Always
make sure the cutting guide is
parallel to the blade before starting
any operation
MAKE CUTS
This table saw can make a variety of
cuts and not all of them are mentioned
in this manual. DO NOT attempt to
make any cuts that are not covered
here unless you are fully familiar with
the proper procedures and necessary
accessories.
