- While the engine is running, pull the clutch lever and shift to
20
1st gear.
- Slowly release the clutch lever.
NOTE
The motorcycle must remain in its position; a slight forward
movement might be noticeable.
The motorcycle is now in 1st gear.
- Open the throttle slowly to move the motorcycle.
- Accelerate to 5000 rpm and stop again.
- Repeat this process 5 times.
NOTE
The automatic function of the Rekluse clutch only refers to the
start-up process. The shift between gears is done in the same
way as the original clutch.
It is recommended that with the Rekluse clutch you
always start in fi rst gear! Starting off in higher gears can
cause excessive wear.
