Mounting the feed slide
Mount the feed plates onto the stud
bolts and fasten them with the knurled
nuts.
With the help of the rear adjustment,
the cross adjustment of the feed unit
is set to the corresponding sleeve size
(set values in the appendix).
Release the fastening lever, the
required value is set in an ascending
order (first set clockwise beneath the
required value to overturn the
backlash of threads clockwise when
setting).
Refasten the fastening lever after
setting.
If it is necessary to remove protection facilities for setting-up and adjusting works, this may
only be performed with deactivated drives and secured machine!
After having completed the setting-up and adjusting works, make sure to replace the
protection facilities and check their proper condition and working function!
Take special care before and during these security checks!
The staff ordered to carry out this work must have proved their professional and personal
suitability for the task!
No-one is allowed to remain in the danger area during these performance checks and
during initial starting!
