All modules are supplied without non-return valve.
Booster modules connected in parallel may also be installed verti-
cally.
Note: As venting problems may arise in such installations, it is
advisable to install suitable air vent devices.

5. Pipe connection

The booster modules are fitted with clamp liners for Victaulic/PJE
clamp couplings on the suction and discharge sides. The loose
clamp liners (fig. 8), which can be ordered as accessories for the
modules, are to be welded onto the system pipes. The clamp liner
is positioned as shown in fig. 9.

Moisten the clamp liner of the booster module with water and
press the rubber sleeve around the liner (fig. 10).
Moisten the clamp liner on the pipe with water. When the module
is mounted, position the clamp liners with a gap as shown in the
table below (fig. 9).

Pull back the rubber sleeve so that it is placed halfway between
the two grooves of the clamp liners (figs. 9 and 11).

Moisten the two clamps with water (fig. 11) on the inside and
place them around the rubber sleeve (fig. 12). Fit the bolts and
nuts and tighten the nuts (fig. 13).
