Installing the Voice Upgrade Software

1. Power on the SIDNE console and wait until SIDNE says, "SIDNE ready. "
2. Insert the dongle into the device-driver dongle port on the front SIDNE
panel. The LED shines amber as it writes the data.
Caution
3. Follow the voice instructions given by SIDNE®.
When SIDNE says this...
"Software card detected. Please stand by. "
"Software installation started. Please wait. "
"Software installation complete. "
"Please remove card. "
4. After installation is complete, SIDNE will reboot, cycle through, and power
off. Power on the SIDNE console.

Do not attempt to install any other software until the
installation of the SIDNE voice upgrade is complete and the
SIDNE console has restarted.
To avoid equipment damage, do not remove the dongle card
before SIDNE® says, "Please remove card. "
