Indications
The shaver handpiece is indicated to be used by surgeons in orthropedic
surgery for the resection of tissue and burring of bone. The shaver handpiece
is indicated for use in the following orthopedic joints:
• Knee
• Shoulder
• Ankle
• Elbow
• Wrist
• Hip
• Temporomandibular
Examples of uses of the product include the resection of torn knee cartilage,
subacromial decompression, resection of synovial tissue in other joints, and
where the surgeon deems appropriate.
Contraindications
There are no known contraindications.
