6. Remove piston plate (20) and sleeve (22) with piston (21).
7. Replace O-ring (24) and support ring (25) and pay attention to the correct arran-
gement in doing so. Exchange O-ring (26) (only present with kGFO version).
8. Remove locking ring (12) in housing using circlip pliers, remove washer (13) and
replace O-ring (14). Reinstall washer and locking ring.
9. Replace O-ring (23) between housing (1) and sleeve (22).
10. Insert seal cone (15) into housing from below, install return spring (4) and cover
(6).
11. Insert the sleeve (22) including piston (21) into the housing from above. Place
piston plate (20) onto piston, install spring cover (2) with spring (3). In doing so,
tighten spring cover at 20 +2 Nm torque and evenly tighten the flange screws
(for DN40 and DN50) at 30 +2 Nm torque.

"Ducted exhaust" version (Fig. f)
This function may be necessary if the gas escaping through the secondary vent is to
be discharged in a targeted manner. A pipe with an inside diameter of 4mm and an
outside diameter of 6mm can be connected to the connection adapter (27). When
tightening the cutting ring threaded connection, firmly secure it against the flat of
the connection adapter.

Cause of Faults, Remedial Action
► Outlet pressure rises above set value
Seal is dirty or cone seal leaking.
Remedial action:
Clean taper or replace if necessary.
► Outlet pressure falls below zero consumption
Diaphragms or piston seal leaking, or spring cover or flange screws not screwed
tight enough.
Remedial action:
Replace diaphragms or piston seal, or retighten spring cover or flange screws (see
point 5.6).
