8.2. Mounting on quick-change fitting
■ Screw the spacers [4-1] and connector [4-2] into the nozzle head and
gun body.
■ Fit automatic gun on quick-change fitting [4-3].
■ Guide the fastening screw [4-4] through the quick-change fitting and
screw into the connector.
■ Fix the quick-change fitting to the fastening system of the spraying
system.
■ Connect control air to the quick-change fitting.
■ Connect flat and round fan air to the quick-change fitting.
■ Connect material supply to the quick-change fitting (optionally connect
material flow connection and material return connection to the quick-
change fitting with material return).
8.3. Usage with material circulation
Notice!
The following connection possibilities are recommended when using the
automatic gun with material circulation.
■ Insert a back-pressure regulator at the material output.
■ The cross-section of the material return pipe must be smaller than the material
feed pipe.
This ensures there is always plenty of material in the fluid tip.
The material circulation keeps the material used moving and it does not
come to a standstill.
The "nozzle head with material circulation" variant of the automatic gun
can only be used with material circulation. To this end the material supply
must be connected accordingly (see chapter 8.1 and 8.2).
The "nozzle head with optional material circulation" variant of the auto-
matic gun can also be used with material circulation.
■ Disconnect the automatic gun from the compressed air circuit and the
material supply.
■ Unscrew the dummy plug [5-1] from the nozzle head.
■ Connect the circulation pipe with seal to the material connection for
material circulation [5-2].
