■ Position the nozzle head [11-5] on the gun body [11-4].
■ Position the four spring lock washers [11-6] on the cheese-head screws
[11-7].
■ Tighten the four cheese-head screws crosswise.
■ Insert the paint needle [11-3].
■ Position the spring [11-2].
■ Screw on the end cap [11-1].
■ Screw on the regulation cap (of variant with material flow control).
■ Adjust the material flow if necessary (see chapter 9.2).
10.4. Replacing the control piston components
If the sleeve of the control piston is damaged, air can escape from the
end cap inspection hole [1-3] (in variant with material flow control from
the material flow control inspection hole [1-7]).
→ Replace the sleeve immediately.
The sealing surface of the sleeve is very sensitive and damages easily.
→ Do not chuck the sleeve on the sealing surface
Dismantle components
■ Unscrew the regulating cap (of variant with material flow control).
■ Unscrew the end cap [14-1].
■ Remove the spring [14-2].
■ Remove paint needle [14-3].
■ Unscrew the control piston [14-6] from the paint needle.
■ Remove sleeve [14-5] from control piston.
■ Remove washer [14-4] from paint needle.
■ Check parts for damage and soiling, clean or replace if necessary.
Mount new components
■ Push washer [14-4] onto paint needle [14-3].
■ Push sleeve [14-5] onto control piston. Pay attention to the alignment of
the groove [14-7].
■ Screw control piston [14-6] onto paint needle.
■ Insert the paint needle [14-3].
■ Position the spring [14-2].
■ Screw on the end cap [14-1].
