HONDA GX390 engine
Starting
1 Turn the engine switch (A) to the position 1.
2 Turn on the fuel by setting the fuel On/Off control
(B) to the ON position
3 Move the choke control (C) to the CLOSE
position.
If the engine is warm or the air temperature
is high, the choke control should be set to
the OPEN position.
4 Set the hydraulic by-pass valve to the OFF
position.
5 Pull the starter grip (E) lightly until resistance
is felt, then pull briskly.

CAUTION
Do not operate the breaker when adjusting
the choke control or fuel valve. Finger injury
can be result.
6 As the engine warms up, gradually move
the choke control (C) to the OPEN position.
Stopping
1 Turn the engine switch (A) to the position 0.
2 Turn off the fuel by setting the fuel On/Off control
(B) to the OFF position.
Hydraulic control and connectors
Hydraulic Pac 30
By-pass valve (1) in off posision by starting, and in
on when using the tool.
Connectors (2) and (3) are used to connect
the powerpack to the tool as follows:
Connector (2) – Return (female).
Connector (3) – Feed (male).
