5. Taking the Pump Apart
1. Take the silicone cushion 1 out of the
breast shield 2 (Fig. A).
2. Holding the end of the handle, pull
the pump lever 4 up slightly, until the
handle fixture 5 slips out of the catch
for the handle 8 (Fig. B).
3. Remove the pump lever 4 from the
pump rod 6 (Fig. B).
4. Take the pump diaphragm 7 and
pump rod 6 out of the breast shield 2
(Fig. C).
Hygiene is of the utmost priority
when handling breast milk and
all parts that come into contact
with it. The pump should
therefore only be used in a
clean and sterile condition.
Warning! Clean, sterilise and quickly dry
all parts thoroughly before using for the
first time and immediately after each use.

7. Pull the lip valve 9 out of the breast
shield 2 (Fig. F).

Warning! Do not use cleaning utensils
(such as brushes or scourers) to clean the lip
valve 9. These can cause damage.
