• Restore the water level in the jacket every 2/3 working days.

The appliance is equipped with an automatic reset pressure
switch which interrupts heating when steam pressure in the
jacket exceeds optimum levels. Heating restarts when steam
pressure returns to an acceptable level.The intervention of the
pressure switch ensures reduced consumption of water in the
jacket and reduced appliance energy consumption overall.
The appliance is fitted with a safety thermostat which stops
activation of heating in the event the water in the jacket falls
below the safety level. The red indicator light on the control
panel switches on. Heating will restart after the water level in
the jacket has been restored. See " FILLING THE JACKET ".
• At the end of each day, clean the well thoroughly in order to
prevent the formation of corrosive deposits.
FILLING THE JACKET
With the appliance cold, fill the jacket using demineralized wa-
ter.
• Unscrew the anti-depression valve " S2 " from its seat to ac-
cess the jacket filling hole.
• Open the level tap " L ".
• Pour demineralized water into the filling hole.
• Stop pouring when water begins to flow from the level tap "
L ".
• Close the level tap " L ".
• Carefully screw back on the anti-depression valve " S2 ".
FILLING AND EMPTYING THE WELL
Filling
The control knob has the following positions:
0 Off
(BLUE) Cold water filling
1 Electrical power ON
(RED) Hot water filling
• Open the lid.
• Turn the handle of the front discharge tap clockwise. The tap
is only completely closed when the handle is in the vertical
position.
• Turn the control knob to select hot or cold water for filling.
Water fills from tap on the countertop.
• Fill the well until the water is level with the maximum level in-
dicated on the wall of the well. Do not use the appliance with
the water level above the maximum indicated level.
• To interrupt filling, turn the knob to "0" or "1".
Emptying
Lift and turn the handle of the front discharge tap anti-clockwi-
se. When the tap is open the handle remains in the horizontal
position.
SWITCHING ON AND OFF
The energy regulator control knob has the following positions :

Switching on
Turn the energy regulator knob to any position between "1" and
"5".
• The yellow indicator light switches on.

COOKING
• Fill the well.
• Turn the knob to position "1".
• Light the burners.
• Adjust the heating according to your cooking requirements.
When the chosen cooking position is other than "5", heating
is intermittent. It switches on and off automatically. The boiling
intensity of the water may vary visibly, but this has no effect on
cooking. When the heating switches off, the yellow indicator
light switches off too.
AT THE END OF SERVICE
• Switch the heating off.
• Switch the burners off
• Empty the well completely.
• Turn the knob to position "0".
17 PROLONGED DISUSE
Before any prolonged disuse of the appliance, proceed as fol-
lows:
• Clean the appliance thoroughly.
• Rub stainless steel surfaces with a cloth soaked in Vaseline
oil to create a protective film.
• Leave lids open.
• Shut off taps and main switches upline of appliances.
Following prolonged disuse, proceed as follows:
• Inspect the appliance thoroughly before using it again.
• Allow electric appliances to operate at the lowest temperatu-
re for at least 60 minutes.

REMINDERS FOR CLEANING
The manufacturer will not be liable for any damage or in-
jury resulting from failure to observe the following rules
• Clean the satin finish stainless steel exterior surfaces, the
cooking wells and the surface of the hotplates every day.
• At least twice a year, have an authorized technician clean the
internal parts of the appliance.
• Do not use direct or high pressure water jets to clean the
appliance.
• Do not use corrosive products to clean the floor beneath the
appliance.
N.B.: In order to reduce wear and prevent the breakage of
outlet , periodically lubricate it (once a week) using cooking
fats.
SATIN FINISH STAINLESS STEEL SURFACES
• Clean the surfaces with a cloth or sponge using water and
proprietary non-abrasive detergents. Follow the direction of
the satin finish lines. Rinse repeatedly and dry thoroughly.
• Do not use pan scourers or other iron items.
• Do not use chemical products containing chlorine.
