The pump is very dirty.
The inlet pipe, rotor housing or inlet

not fully opened.
Remedy
• Remove the transport screw
plugs.
• Dismantle the pump and inspect it
for dry-running damage.
• Fill up the pump and/or pipes
completely and vent them.
• Install a venting device.
• Correct the pipe layout.
• Clean the outlet pipe.
• Exchange any two phases of the
motor power supply. See section
5.1.3 Checking the direction of
rotation.
• Dismount and clean the pump.
• Clean the inlet pipe, rotor housing
or inlet casing.
• Clean the inlet casing.
• Seal the source of air leakage or
repair the malfunctioning
component, if necessary.
• Check the pipes.
• Clean or enlarge the filter.
• Install an inlet pipe with a bigger
cross-section.
• Repair or replace any worn parts.
• Check the fuse and replace it, if
necessary.
• Check the cable connections and
insulation. Replace the cable, if
necessary.
• Compare the required motor
speed with the specifications on
the pump nameplate. Replace the
motor, if necessary.
• Increase the motor speed if speed
control is available.
• Compare the required motor
speed with the specifications on
the pump nameplate. Replace the
