• Use a compass to mark out the difference
between the dimensions 'H' and 'G' on the
housing.
• Fully mark out the outline of the housing.
• A scribing block can be made as pictured
and used instead of a compass.
The scribing block is a pointed fillet with a
hole at dimension H - G.
• Saw off the housing according to the line
marked out.

Make sure that the part to be cut off is
EXACTLY the calculated and scribed
difference 'H - G' .
Place the thruster housing in the hull
and check if the indicated height is ex-
actly dimension G as per table .
• Also remove the coated layer of the bot-
tom 10 cm (4") of the housing by sanding
or grinding.
This is essential in order to achieve a good
adhesion with the polyester.
