- Undo the adjuster bolts (G) and the self-locking nuts (K),

- Take out the bolts (J) securing the running boards (A) to the vehicle body,
- Dispose of the damaged running boards as sorted waste.
Treat any paintwork damage (scratches) with a suitable primer, such as Permacron 3255.
Once the rivets have been removed, spray cavity preservative (order no. D 329 215 M1) into
the corresponding holes.
