4-
FWD/REV: Toggles motor between forward and reverse rotations. (In reverse rotation, unit is beeping).
AR MODE: Sets the type of autoreverse:
5-
"STP" - Autoreverse disabled:
A.
Motor stops without switching to reverse rotation (Fig. 8).
B.
"AR" - Standard autoreverse:
When the file reaches set torque value, the motor switches to reverse rotation until stopped. It will restart in forward rotation.
Note: This function applies only if the torque is not set to maximum value (Fig. 9).
"SAR" - Special autoreverse:
C.
When the file reaches set torque value, the motor switches to reverse rotation until the file is released. The motor then returns
to forward rotation. Note: This function applies only if the torque is not set to maximum value (Fig. 10).
Note: The user is notified with a beep when applied torque reaches 75% of set torque value, and again when applied
torque exceeds that value.
Always verify set values before using the device. Improper use may result in bodily injury.
b. Reciprocating mode
Each program has been configured by the manufacturer with identical information (Fig. 11):
• Reduction ratio: 8:1
• Rotations/minute: 350 rpm
• Angular value in forward rotation: 90°
• Angular value in reverse rotation: 30°
The indicated parameters are only examples. To minimize risk, comply with the speed recommendations issued
by the manufacturer of the rotary instrument and contra-angle being used
com/documents.
First line displays:
• Mode currently in use: "Reciprocating / Rotating"
• Program: From P1 to P10
Second line displays:
• Reduction ratio of the contra-angle (left)
"Ratio" button followed by +/- buttons changes the contra-angle's reduction ratio.
• Angle of clockwise rotation (right)
"FWD" button followed by +/- buttons adjusts the forward rotation angular value.
The third line displays:
• Currently set speed (left).
The "RPM" buttons followed by +/- buttons adjusts the speed.
• The angle of counterclockwise rotation (right)
The "REV" button followed by +/- buttons adjusts the reverse rotation angular value.
• Device programming:
RATIO: Sets the contra-angle's reduction ratio. The following table shows the possible reduction ratios:
