- Press the button (B) and at the same time, lower the arm (F) so that the lid (E) is sitting over the
bowl (G) (Fig. 6).
IMPORTANT: Before using the appliance, make sure that all of the necessary attachments are cor-
rectly fitted.
- Insert the plug into the mains power and switch on the appliance by pressing the "
the control panel (D). This will switch on the display (C) (Fig. 7).
- Use the "+" and "-" buttons on the control panel (D) to set the required speed.
It is also possible to select pulse operation by pressing the relevant button "P" on the control panel
(D). Optimum use of this function requires it to be pressed for a very brief amount of time (2/3
seconds).
WARNING: The power base of the appliance (A) has a label marked with all of the speeds to be
used according to the type of mixing attachment being used. In any case, we recommend that you
always start at the lowest speed, increasing it as needed and to follow the preparation times stated
in the specific recipe.
IMPORTANT: Never operate the appliance for longer than 2 minutes at a time; then wait a few
minutes before using it again.
- The appliance has a special mechanism that, during operation, causes the mixing attachment not
only to rotate on itself, but also to make a circular movement around the base of the bowl (G).
IMPORTANT: If it is necessary to add other ingredients to the bowl (G) while the appliance is operat-
ing, switch off the appliance and use the special opening in the bowl lid (E).
- For smoother results, switch off the appliance, unplug it from the power mains and lift the arm (F)
as described previously. Using the spatula (M) provided, move any food on the sides of the bowl
(G) towards the centre.
IMPORTANT: To prevent injury or damage to the appliance, always keep hands and cooking utensils
well away from moving parts.
- After use or in the event of changing the type of mixing attachment, switch off the appliance and
unplug it from the power mains; lift the arm (F), as described above and remove the attachment
by carefully pulling it outwards.
- Remove the lid (E) by turning it clockwise.

USEFUL TIPS

- For the best results, always whisk eggs at room temperature.
- Before whisking egg whites, make sure that there is no grease or egg yolk on the whisk attachment
or in the bowl.
- Always use cold ingredients for short crust pastry, unless otherwise specified in the recipe.
- When making bread dough, never exceed the maximum recommended capacity so as to avoid
overloading the appliance.
- If you hear the appliance straining during use, switch it off and unplug it from the power mains.
Remove any excessive mix so as not to exceed the maximum recommended amount.
- For optimum mixing, always add liquids first.
