FINAL INSTALLATION
10. It is advisable to check that the wiring has been done
correctly before proceeding. Turn the power back
on and test the light and fan functions with the pull
chains on the switch housing (F).
If the fan functions but the lights do not, turn
the power off and check that the male plug from the
switch housing (F) and the female plug from the light
kit fitter (H) are connected properly. Turn the power
back on and re-test the light.
If the fan does not function, turn the power off,
disconnect the male and female plugs on the light
kit fitter (H) and remove the light kit fitter (H). Then
remove the switch housing (F) and check that
the 9-wire plugs inside the switch housing (F) are
connected properly. Replace the switch housing (F)
per the instructions in Steps 4 and 5 and continue
with Steps 6 through 8.
11. Before proceeding, ensure the electricity has been
shut off again. Remove the rubber bands and plastic
bags from the fan pull chains. Raise the glass
shade (M) and guide the pull chains through the
corresponding holes at the bottom of the glass shade
(M). Push up gently until the threaded nipple on
the light kit fitter (H) comes through the center hole
in the glass shade (M). Thread the pull chains and
threaded nipple through the corresponding holes in
the finial plate (L) and secure the glass shade (M)
with the finial (K).
Notet
Do not overtighten the finial as this may cause
the glass to crack.
