DESCRIPTION
The 3M™ Protecta
TRIGGER™ Adjustable Work Positioning Lanyard is intended to be used as part of personal work
®
positioning system. Work positioning systems typically include a full body harness or body belt, positioning lanyard, and a
backup personal fall arrest system. The adjustment system has the option to easily adjust the length of the lanyard during
use. This equipment is not suitable for fall arrest purposes and that it is necessary to supplement arrangements for work
positioning with collective means (e. g. safety nets) or personal means (e. g. fall arrest systems) of protection against falls
from a height.
Figure 1 identifies Adjustable Work Positioning Lanyards covered by this instruction. Different models are available with
various combinations of the following features:
