Carefully guide the chamber ring (only for accumulators from 10L),
then the O-ring and finally the support ring over the threaded end of
the fluid port housing using an O-ring lifter (or a similar tool) and mount
it in the gap between the vessel and housing shell surface. Shift the
rings axially up to the anti-extrusion ring without twisting or crushing
the O-ring.
Slide the spacer ring over the fluid port housing and position its
centering shoulder in the gap between the housing and the vessel.
Screw the groove nut onto the thread of the fluid port housing and
screw it hand-tight with the spacer ring. Then tighten the groove nut
with countered fluid port housing using a hook torque wrench and
apply the recommended torque according to the drawing or
specification Cf. 4.1.
If required, fill the bladder to the set pre-charge pressure.
For safety reasons, Freudenberg recommends to charge the bladder
after installation and fastening of the accumulator.
Exclude gas-side valve leakage, screw on the valve and finally the
protective cap.
Install the bladder accumulator on the system side following the
recommendations in sections 4 and 5.
