SERVICE FUNCTIONS.
NOTE: The term "Job" refers to a working point realized from the user adjusting available parameters for
Tig welding and then saved (stored) in a memory area called "Job number".
NOTE: The AQ key pressed briefly carries out a selection, pressed for a time greater than 3 seconds
carries out an operation of recall, memorization, deletion or modification.
9.1
Recall and/or modify saved Job from the Control Panel.
Job modification is not allowed by Robot Terminal but only via the Control Panel.
From Robot Terminal, select the Parameter Selection Internal mode to make the Control Panel
operative.
Press briefly the AQ key. Display O reads the number of the last Job used or, if none have ever been
used, of the last Job saved (i.e. P01).
Press briefly again the AQ key to select the "Job number" to call-up or modify, if different from the
indicated on display O one.
After 3 seconds, the Control Panel displays the parameters for the selected Job.
It is now possible to perform the welding with the indicated parameters, or modify the parameters by
means of the Control Panel commands.
Once modified the parameters, press the AQ key for more than 3 seconds if agrees to overwrite the
recalled Job, or press briefly the AQ key in order to select a different "Job number", therefore press it
newly for more than 3 seconds in order to create a new Job with the modified parameters.
In both cases an acoustic signal (BIP) marks the happened memorization of Job.
9.2
Recall a saved Job by Robot Terminal.
From Robot Terminal, select Job mode and a "Job number" other than 0 (zero).
Display O shows the selected "Job number". After 3 seconds, the Control Panel displays the parameters
for the selected Job.
If the selected "Job number" does not correspond to any existing Job, display O flashes and the
remaining signals on the Control Panel are off.
9.3
Saving a Job.
Job saving is not allowed by Robot Terminal but only via the Control Panel.
From Robot Terminal, select the Parameter Selection Internal mode to make the Control Panel
operative.
After performing a welding test with the parameters that you intend to save, press briefly the AQ key to
select the "Job number" where intend to save the parameters.
Display O reads the number of the last Job used or, if none have ever been used, of the last Job saved
(i.e. P01). If the "Job number" selected is already occupied, the message on the display O is fixed
(steady), if instead is free the indication is flashing.
Hold down the AQ key for longer than 3 seconds; an acoustic signal (BIP) signals that the Job has been
saved.
9.4
Deleting a Job.
Job deletion is not allowed by Robot Terminal but only via the Control Panel.
From the Robot Terminal, select the Parameter Selection Internal mode to make the Control Panel
operative.
Press briefly the AQ key to select the "Job number" that you intend delete, shown in steady mode on
display O. Use knob Y to choose the abbreviation dEL, on display U.
Hold down the AQ key for longer than 3 seconds; an acoustic signal (BIP) signals the deletion of the Job;
the message on display O starts to flash (free "Job number").
These two last actions must take place by time the display O shows in steady way the "Job number," thus
approximately 5 seconds.
Elapsed such period the Control Panel returns to the normal operations and in order to carry out the
deletion it is necessary to press briefly again the AQ key.
