CEBORA S.p.A.
With the FdU function active, other parameters become available, selectable with the key AP and
adjustable with knob Y:
HF
(High Frequency). With knob Y select if to enable the Power Source inner HF Generator ("int"
(default)) or that inside to the Wire Feeder Unit ("FdU").
GAS With knob Y select if the Gas comes from Power Source ("int" (default)) or from the Wire
Feeder Unit ("FdU").
Mot (Wire Feeder motor). Modality of operation of the Wire Feeder motor:
OFF (default). The process Cold Wire is not active.
OnC (Continuous). Continuous operation. The motor works at the speed set up in the parameter
HSP.
ASY (Asynchronous). Asynchronous operation. The motor works in order to obtain a wire
alternated advancing. It requires the HSP, LSP, Frq and dtY parameters set up.
SYn (Syncronous). Synchronous operation. Available only in "Tig-Pulsed". The advancing of the
wire happens in alternated way syncronized with the current pulse. Frequency and duty cycle
of the alternated motion is those of the current pulse. It is necessary therefore that the
frequency of the current pulse is comprised between 0,1 and 5 Hz, and the duty cycle is
comprised between 10 and 90%. It requires the HSP and LSP parameters set up.
HSP (High Speed). Is the speed "high" of wire advancing, expressed in m/min. Range 0,0 ÷
10,0 m/min (default = 1,0 m/min).
LSP (Low Speed). Is the speed "low" of wire advancing, expressed in m/min. Range -2,5 ÷
10,0 m/min (default = 0,0 m/min).
Frq (Frequency). Is the frequency of alternation between "high" and "low" speeds. Range 0.1
÷ 5,0 Hz (default = 1 Hz).
dtY (Duty Cycle). It is the ratio between the time of "high" speed and the period of the
alternation frequency, expressed in percentage. Range 10 ÷ 90% (default 50%).
Aut Motor automatic start. It requires the OFF and On parameters set up.
OFF (default). The motor starts with the "Up/Down" command from the torch or with the
"Inc" command from Robot Terminal.
On
The motor starts at the attainment of the "Main Current" and stops to the exit the
"Main Current". It requires the SdY parameters set up.
SdY (Start Delay). Delay between the attainment of the Main Current and the motor
start. Range 0,0 ÷ 10,0 sec (default 0,0 sec).
rEt
(Retract). Indicates the regression of the wire activating at welding end (Main
Current end). Range 0 ÷ 50 mm (default 1 mm).
PdY (Pulse Syncronous high delay). Delay of the timing pulse. Available only in "Tig-Pulsed".
Indicates the delay or the advance the motor start regarding the pulse current high level.
Expressed in cents of second. Range -99 ÷ +99 s/100 (Default = 0 s).
With the "Feeder Unit" function active (FdU On) if the Wire Feeder Unit is disconnected or not
supplied, on Control Panel display O and U visualize FdU int blinking message (error 8, par. 11.2).
10.4 Crater Arc function (CrA).
Inside the "Second Functions" menu press the AP key to select CrA on display O; with knob Y select the
status of the function, visible on display U:
OFF = not active (default);
On
= active.
With CrA active, other parameters become available, selectable with AP key and adjustable with knob Y.
CrC (Crater Current) on display O; with knob Y assign a value to field CrC, visible on display U.
Range 0 ÷ 100% (default 50%).
tCr
(Crater Time) on display O; with knob Y assign a value to field tCr, visible on display U.
Range 0,1 ÷ 30,0 sec (default 0,5 sec).
The reduction ramp between "Main Current" and "Crater Current" is "Slope Down" parameter (led AC).
10.5 MMA function (MMA).
Available only with MMA process selected (led AW lit). Inside the "Second Functions" menu, with knob
Y select DC or AC mode referred to MMA process, visible on display U.
