SECOND FUNCTIONS.

To enter the "Second Functions" menu press contemporary the AQ and AP keys for a time greater than 3
seconds.
The choice of the menu voices is realized pressing in short way the key AP.
To exit the "Second Functions" menu press in short way the key AQ.
10.1 Cooling Unit function (H2O).
Inside the "Second Functions" menu press the key AP to select H2O on display O; with knob Y select
the type of operation, shown on display U:

OFF = off (default);

OnC = continuous, always lit;

OnA = automatic start-up.
Press the key AQ to exit the "Second Functions" menu, saving all current settings automatically.
Upon Power Source start-up, if set in continuous or automatic mode, the Cooling Unit starts running to
place the liquid in the cooling circuit under pressure. If the start command (Arc-on) does not arrive
within 15 seconds, the unit stops.
In automatic operation, the Unit starts running with each start command (Arc-on) and stops 3 minutes
after the start signal end.
If the coolant pressure is too low, the Power Source delivers no current and the message H2O will appear,

in flashing way, on the display O (error 75, par. 11.2).
NOTE: If the pump turns with no coolant present, you must remove all air from the tubes:
- shut off the Power Source and fill the tank;
- disconnect the blue tube of the Torch cable from the fitting BL;
- connect one end of a new tube to the free fitting BL and insert the other end of the pipe in the
tank;
- run the Power Source and then the Cooling Unit for approximately 10/15 seconds to fill the
pump;
- shut off the Power Source and reset the Torch tube connections.
10.2 Robot function (rob).
Inside the "Second Functions" menu press the key AP to select rob on display O; with knob Y select the
status of the function, visible on display U:

OFF = not active (default);

On = active.
Press the key AQ to exit the "Second Functions" menu, saving all current settings automatically.
With the Robot function disabled (rob OFF) the Control Panel maintains full management of the
welding system.
With the Robot function enabled (rob On), operation of the system passes to the Robot Terminal and the
Control Panel maintains partial operations, depending on the "Operating Mode" selected (par. 6.1).
With the Robot function enabled (rob On), if the Robot Interface is disconnected or not powered, on the
Control Panel the displays O and U read rob int flashing (error 7, par. 11.2).
With the Robot function enabled (rob On) and the Robot Interface connected and powered, the system is
ready to operate managed by Robot Control.
10.3 Feeder Unit function (FdU).
Inside the "Second Functions" menu press the key AP to select FdU on display O; with knob Y select
the status of the function, visible on display U:

OFF = not active (default);

On = active.
Operating in Parameter Selection Internal mode and in Tig mode. In Parameter Selection Internal
mode the parameters can be adjusted from Control Panel, in Tig mode from Robot Control.
The "Feeder Unit function" diagram, at the end of this manual, is referred to the Parameter Selection
Internal mode, with the use of key AP and knob Y of the Control Panel.
