FITTING THE BATTERIES.-
This
monitor
uses
BATTERIES.
To fit the batteries, first remove the
rear cover on the monitor using a screwdriver and
then remove the cover of the battery compartment,
Fig. 1, and carefully insert the two AA alkaline
batteries into the battery compartment (A) making
sure that the battery's polarity is correct (matching
the battery's «+» terminal with the «+» sign inside
the battery compartment, and the «-» terminal with
the «-» sign). Close the cover, as shown in Fig. 1.
If, after having switched the monitor on, it displays
errors or merely partial segments then remove the
batteries and wait for about 15 seconds before
reinstalling them.
Weak batteries (run down) produce a weak digital
display (poor contrast) and erroneous readings.
Change them immediately.
The monitor will turn on along with a beep sound. The
LCD will show all segments for 2s and then display
the units (miles or kilometers) for about 1 second.
Finally the display will go to user setting mode.
The monitor will switch itself off automatically if the
unit remains motionless for 4 minutes.
Important. Discarded batteries must be deposited
in special containers, Fig. 2.
FUNCIONES DEL MONITOR.-
SETTING USER DATA.-
The monitor will enter the user setting mode after
fitting the batteries or afetr pressing the RESET key
for a few seconds. Use the UP▲/DOWN▼ keys to
select the user - USER 1-USER 4 and press MODE
to confirm.
The display will show SET GENDER to set the sex.
Use UP▲/DOWN▼ keys to choose (MALE) or
(FEMALE), press MODE to confirm. The display will
show SET AGE. Use UP▲/DOWN▼ keys to enter
the age (01-99), press MODE to confirm. The display
will show SET HEIGHT. Use UP▲/DOWN▼ keys to
enter the height (100-200), press MODE to confirm.
Finally the display will show SET WEIGHT, use
UP▲/DOWN▼ keys to enter enter the weight (20-
150), press MODE to confirm and you will go to
workout mode selection.
QUICK START PROGRAM.-
1. Press START to start working out immediately.
Time begin to count down and the monitor will show
(RPM) / (TIME) / (WATT) / (HEART RATE) / (SPEED)
/ (CALORIES) / (DISTANCE) values.
The character animation only show the user.
2.
3. Press STOP to stop workout. The word STOP will
be blinking. To resume Program press START. To
return to workout mode selection press RESET.

WORKOUT MODE SELECTION.-
Use UP▲/DOWN▼ key to select workout mode:
Target time program (TARGET TIME) / Target
distance program (TARGET DIST) / Target calories
program (TARGET CAL) / Steady watt rate program
(TARGET WATT) / H. R. program (TARGET H.R.) /
Watt program (WATT PROGRAM) / Interval program
(INTERVAL). Press MODE to confirm your selection.
TARGET TIME PROGRAM.-
1. Once you are inside this program setting mode use
UP▲/DOWN▼ keys to set the target time (the preset
value is 10:00). Press START to begin the workout.
Time begin to count down and the monitor will show
(RPM) / (TIME) / (WATT) / (HEART RATE) / (SPEED)
/ (CALORIES) / (DISTANCE) values.
The character animation only show the user.

3. Press STOP to stop workout. The word STOP will
be blinking. To resume Program press START. To
return to workout mode selection press RESET.
TARGET DISTANCE PROGRAM.-
1. Once you are inside this program setting mode use
UP▲/DOWN▼ keys to set the target distance (the
preset value is 5.0). Press START to begin the
workout. Distance begin to count down and the
monitor will show (RPM) / (TIME) / (WATT) / (HEART
RATE) / (SPEED) / (CALORIES) / (DISTANCE)
values.
The character animation only show the user.

3. Press STOP to stop workout. The word STOP will
be blinking. To resume Program press START. To
return to workout mode selection press RESET.
TARGET CALORIES PROGRAM.-
1. Once you are inside this program setting mode use
UP▲/DOWN▼ keys to set the target calories (the
preset value is 100). Press START to begin the
workout. Calories begin to count down and the
monitor will show (RPM) / (TIME) / (WATT) / (HEART
RATE) / (SPEED) / (CALORIES) / (DISTANCE)
values.
The character animation only show the user.

3. Press STOP to stop workout. The word STOP will
be blinking. To resume Program press START. To
return to workout mode selection press RESET.
STEADY WATT RATE PROGRAM
1. Once you are inside this program setting mode use
UP▲/DOWN▼ keys to select the taget watt (the
preset value is 20). Press START to begin the
workout. Time begin to count down and the monitor
will show (RPM) / (TIME) / (WATT) / (HEART RATE) /
(SPEED) / (CALORIES) / (DISTANCE) values.
The character animation only show the user.

3. When the actual watt value is lower than the target
watt value, the display will show the symbol
remind the user to speed up. When the actual watt
