Handling and Operation

PLEASE NOTE!
• Do not pour milk or other liquids into the water tank. Only ever use water!

Operating Elements

The device has three operating buttons:
Press the On / Off button (11) to switch the device on and off.
Press the brew button (2) to start and stop the brewing process.
Press the steam button (4) to activate or deactivate steam mode.
Control lamps
The device has three control lamps (10):
The operating lamp lights up when the device is switched on.
The Brewing control lamp fl ashes during the heating process. It lights up constantly
when the correct temperature is reached and the brewing process can be started.
If the Brewing control lamp fl ashes quickly once steam mode has been set, this means
that the device is cooling down to brewing temperature.
The Steam control lamp fl ashes during the heating process. It lights up constantly when
the temperature is suffi cient to produce steam.
Steam Power Control
The steam power control (3) is used to regulate the emission of steam:
When you switch on the device, always make sure that the selector switch is in
the position!
Hotplate
On the hotplate (1) you can preheat your cups or keep espresso / coffee that you have made
warm. As soon as the device starts heating the water in the water tank (h), the hotplate is auto-
matically heated at the same time.

In this position no steam is emitted.
In this position the maximum amount of steam is emitted.
CAUTION! Gradually increase the amount of steam emitted
during use. Never switch directly to the maximum amount.
