6.3
Water connections
Caution
Do not perform welding operations directly below the appliance, as they could damage the base of the boiler. The
heat could also damage the water seal of the taps. Weld and assemble the pipes before installing the boiler.
Caution
Carefully tighten the boiler water connections (maximum torque 30 Nm).
6.3.1
Connecting the heating circuit
It is recommended to install heating delivery and return shut-off cocks, which are available as accessories.
Connect the heating return on the boiler inlet fitting.
Connect the heating delivery pipe to the boiler outlet fitting.
We recommend installing a filter in the boiler return pipe to prevent debris damaging it.
An expansion vessel of the correct size and pressure must be connected to the boiler's return pipe.
Notice
Before connecting the pipes, remove all the protective plugs.
Warning
The heating pipes must be installed in accordance with prevailing provisions. The drain pipe of the safety valve
must not be soldered. Carry out any welding work required at a safe distance from the boiler or before the boiler is
installed. Install a drain under the safety valve leading to the building's drainage system.
6.3.2
Connecting the domestic water circuit
Warning
The domestic water pipes must be installed in accordance with prevailing provisions. Carry out any welding work
required at a safe distance from the boiler or before the boiler is installed. If using plastic pipes, follow the
manufacturer's instructions for connection.
Connect the domestic hot water (DHW) inlet pipe to the 1/2" domestic water (DHW) inlet connection on the boiler.
Connect the domestic hot water (DHW) flow pipe to the 1/2" connection to the mains network of the house.
