Indicator lamps (12 - 14) do

Troubleshooting
Possible cause
Not plugged in.
Fuse in electrical distribution
board defective/switched off.
The indicator lamp is defective. Contact customer service.
Too many appliances connec-
ted to the same power circuit.
No fault detected.
No water in the water tank.
Water tank incorrectly ins-
talled in the housing.
Valve on the water tank is
clogged.
Briefly during initial use of a
new appliance.
Drip tray full.
Valve on water tank leaking
Coffee powder pressed in too
firmly.
The coffee powder is ground
too finely.
ESE pad is not centred.
Remedy
Insert the mains plug.
Replace fuse or switch on
the circuit breaker.
Reduce the number of
appliances on the power
circuit.
Contact customer service.
Fill with water.
Install the water tank
properly.
Clean the valve or allow to
be replaced by customer
service.
The system of a new appli-
ance is empty. The noises
will decrease after the
appliance has been filled
with water.
Empty the drip tray.
Contact customer service.
Press in the coffee powder
less firmly.
Grind the coffee powder
less finely.
Centre the ESE pad in the
strainer insert.
