2. Open the seat clamps (A3) to an opening greater
than the width of the carrier. To open the seat
clamps, turn the Allen Key (E) counterclockwise while
pressing the release button (A4).
3. Pull the safety belt for the bicycle frame (C)
upwards. Make sure it does not interfere with
mounting the seat to the bicycle.
4. Place the seat over the carrier so that it is slightly
attached to the seat clamp of the carrier. Use the
Allen Key (E) for tightening.
5. The child seat has a centre of gravity (A5) (inscribed
on the child seat) that must be positioned in front of
the rear wheel axle. If it is positioned behind the axle,
the distance must not exceed 10 cm. Special care
must also be taken when positioning the child seat
to ensure that the cyclist does not touch the child
seat with his feet when cycling. Note: In Germany,
according to the German Traffic Law StVZO, bicycle
seats may only be fixed so that 2/3 of the seat depth
or the Gravity Center of the seat is located between
the front and rear axle of the bicycle. The seat shall be
installed as close to the saddle as possible.
6. Once correctly positioned, tighten the jaws (A3)
firmly enough so that the seat is securely attached
to the carrier, turning the Allen wrench clockwise. We
recommend that you use a torque of 6 N.m.
7. We suggest shaking the seat to make sure it´s
properly and securely attached to the luggage carrier.

the 2 points of the lock (F1) and opening the buckle.

in the picture, under tension. Make sure that remain

it trought the Safety belt retainer (C2). This step is

9. Place the fork protection film (B3) around the place
where you will apply the metal plate (B4). WARNING:
Bobike provides this film to be used and to protect
the struts. We are not responsible for any damage to
the bike struts.
10. The seat must always be used with the foot
protection plates (B1). Their use is mandatory,
since they keep the child's foot and hands
from coming into contact with the wheel, thus
preventing accidents. Assemble the footrest (B2)
by successively installing the metal fixing plate (B4),
the fixing block (B5), the foot protection plate (B1)
and the footrest (B2). Tighten (6 N.m) the 2 screws
(B6) of the footrest using the supplied Allen Key
(E). Make sure that the foot guards (B1) are placed
horizontally and properly secured both on the bike
struts and on the carrier.
11. Place the included reusable zip ties (B7) on each
side through the tapped holes in the foot guard plate
and fasten them to the struts and the carrier. Cut
reusable zip ties to size.

13. When you have placed your child in the seat,
fasten the belt around the child's waist and click
the buckle closed. Note: Before starting the journey,
