SYSTEM USE REGULATIONS
• The entire gas system must be turned off during travel in ac-
cordance with legal requirements. The valve on the cylinder
and all the taps (red) on the gas distribution unit located in the
motorhome must also be closed.
• Regularly check the gas pipes and connections. Have these
checks performed by a repair shop authorised by LUANO
CAMP.
• Perform regular leakage checks of the pipe connection to the
portable gas cylinder. The gas pipe must not have any cracks
or be porous. Contact a repair shop authorised by LUANO
CAMP to replace the gas pipe with a new, approved one before
and no later than the date indicated on the pipe itself.
• The gas system in your motorhome is supplied by one or more
portable gas cylinders, connected to a pressure reducer
• The system distributes gas to the following equipment: hob,
oven, heating system, boiler and fridge.
ATTENTION
LUANO CAMP does not accept responsibility for
tampering or modifications made to the original
gas system. Check the condition of the hoses on a
regular bases and replace them with other approved
ones by the expiry date shown on the hose itself.
CAUTION
When the vehicle is in motion, gas appliances must
be turned off, except those designed to be operated
whilst in motion.
Always close the main valve of the cylinders when
the gas system is not in use.
GAS CYLINDERS
Transfer the gas cylinders only into the appropriate ventilated
storage compartment, which is accessible from outside the
motorhome. Ensure that the vents are always unobstructed.
• Secure the gas cylinders vertically in the storage compartment
so that they cannot rotate or fall over.
• Before removing the gas pipe or regulator, close the main shut-
off valve.
• Fit the pressure regulator ring nut on the cylinder manually;
only use a wrench to close fully.
The gas is supplied by the external portable cylinders and is
delivered to the equipment via the pressure reducer and a
distribution unit to various taps, one for each piece of equipment.
The taps are located inside the lower cupboard in the kitchen.
• Each gas operated item is fitted with a safety valve with ther-
mocouple which interrupts the supply of gas in the event that
the flame is accidentally extinguished.
The dimensions of the garage locker vary from model to model.
It is advisable to use gas cylinders having the following maximum
dimensions:
• Height 600 mm
• Diameter 310 mm
